People are driving a lot more miles nowadays. It’s not uncommon for me to see customers coming in to my shop in 2 year old cars with over 100k miles. The cars we drive today are much more reliable than they were just 10 years ago. So 100k+ miles is nothing for most vehicles.
However these newer cars are consuming oil between oil changes. I would say 6 out of 10 cars that come in for an oil change is low on oil, to the point where its barely touching the dipstick or not touching at all..
Just check your oil every other week and add as needed.
